Every Rose Has Its Thorn

At first, this was inspired by the song "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Poison. Then it morphed into its own thing. This one sat on ice for a little while, so to speak, while I let the creativity build up.

She is the rose, and she has a thorn. She offers part of herself to the moon in the hope that it will make her a gentler being. She's beautiful but can also cause incredible pain if not handled with immense care.
